Real Kendo in NagasakiLearn from a 7th Dan Master
A 90-minute, hands-on kendo session for travelers. No experience needed.
一
Taught by a Kendo Kyoshi, 7th Dan
Your instructor holds one of the highest ranks in kendo and has over 30 years of experience teaching people of all ages, in Japan and abroad.
二
Real equipment, real practice
You'll wear a kendo uniform, hold a bamboo sword (shinai), and — if you like — try on the armor (bogu). This is a real dojo-style practice, not a show.
三
It begins and ends with respect
Kendo starts and finishes with a bow. You'll learn the etiquette behind it, and what it means in Japanese culture.
